In what has to be one of the prettiest floral displays for the D Day commemorations, Kineton has really pulled out all the stops.
The roses, which adorn the memorial in the centre of the village, have been put together by the team at florist Flower Thyme.
In coming up with the idea, they asked the community if they would kindly donate as many roses as possible to be part of the display. Everyone obliged and Gillian and her team were able to create a visually stunning piece for the commemorative event.
Sheldon Bosley Knight’s Kineton sales manager, Sara Jordan, said: “The memorial and this incredible display will be the focus for a service to be held on Thursday 6th June at 9.15pm. The service will commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D Day.
“It looks magnificent and will be the perfect backdrop to what will be a very special event.
“Kineton has such a fabulous community spirit and always pulls together to make it a village to be proud to live and work in.”
