It’s official – Kenilworth is one of the best places to invest in the UK

It’s official. Kenilworth is one of the best up-and-coming places to invest in the UK.
According to the annual Sunday Times list, the market town was “catching up fast” when it came to property investment hot spots such as Leamington Spa and Shipston-on-Stour.
It cited space, spare rooms to work from home and transport links as key considerations when looking to buy into rather than the four c’s of coffee, culture, cocktails and commutability.
It said buying now would allow the investor to enjoy being part of the transformation of the area as well as increasing the financial value of the property.
Advice for those looking at areas in which to spend, included to look for new infrastructure, interesting shops and restaurants and to find a place that “feels and functions like one of our existing favourites, but where homes are hopefully more affordable”.
Sheldon Bosley Knight’s Kenilworth branch manager, Rockwell Allen said: “I am not surprised Kenilworth scored highly in this list.
“The town is great and definitely one of the best places to invest as it has so much going for it.
“There are some fantastic properties – new builds, those with bucket loads of character, semi-detached houses, terraces and flats – there really is something for everyone.
“Centrally located, Kenilworth has excellent transport links giving easy access to the rest of the Midlands whether by road or rail. It also has a host of great schools, a thriving market, the Castle, fantastic shops, bars, cafes and a Michelin starred restaurant at The Cross, not to mention plenty of green space including the beautiful Abbey Fields.
“So if you are a first time buyer keen to get a foothold on the ladder, or a landlord wanting to expand your portfolio, please pop into our office so we can show you what a great place Kenilworth is to invest in.”
